27 September 2009, elections in one of Europe’s oldest economies, Portugal...
According to WorldWatch these elections are empty of any solutions, no political party has been able to relate to the public any new solution to the nations economical, health, educational and energy problems.

Portugal has one of the lowest wages in for the common worker, the public sector is badly managed, corruption according to local news is a booming business, and unemployment is well over 9%.
Portugal continues to have final consumer prices for the motorist one of the highest in the world...Oil consumption in Portugal last year dropped more than 14% and all tendencies indicate that it will continue!!! This dishonest attitude is lead by the so called national oil company Galp Energia... the Portuguese Government is also involved in this apparent scheme as the more the companies charge the more taxes the government obtains... This scheme is called "Robin Hood Tax" the more you charge the more Tax I (government) have... As is also tradition one company increases all others follow behind, the prices are also certainly combined between all involved... This arrogant attitude by the oil companies (GALP,BP,REPSOL,CEPSA) and government will not be forgotten, the population will certainly have the opportunity to elect a new government that will work for the people and not for the oil industry...

WorldWatch has received information that there is a civil movement entitled "NÃO AO VOTO" that has already support from various regions of Portugal and over thirty thousand supporters who have confirmed that their vote is not for sale.
"As long as this fraud continues the economy and Portugal have their destiny crossed. Its time the Portuguese people stand up and fight for the values of the 25th April 1974 revolution...
